Wood is a natural product. Every trunk differs from another in its shading of colours because of its origin and individual growth. We pay extra attention that every piece being made during our manufacturing process originates from one particular trunk. Furthermore, every piece of wood shows differing extents of dampness - depending on the seasons - by which the joints open up during the winter months and close again during the summer months. When purchasing our timbers, we ensure that the dampness does not exceed 12%. Timbers differ in density and hardness. Choosing our timbers we limit ourselves to only those which have a high degree of hardness.
